The silence of KeyFruit for a while was not because of the lack of energy which is brought by summer. It was neither because of the welcome parties with DJ’s and music in our new office roof, nor the wet times we exhausted near the mini pool which is full of toy ducks. At these times instead of spending our time with doing all of these, we were working day and night for a new project.
Digital publishing, accepted as one of the milestones of digital media is now a project of Digital Tree Publishing team, who aims to carry it out as a ”combination of printed paper and technology”. When they contacted us with their projects, we had a twinkle in our eyes. As KeyFruit, we appreciated to accept this new project knowing that the digital magazines are the actors of a very important digital revolution which is being accepted by the authorities as “the most efficient phenomenon of the decade”. Digital magazines are not giving readers “the chance to access digital content” from any whereby using any internet browser only, but also the ability to share their favorite content on social media platforms as well.
Josh Gordon, The Director of Smarter Media, claims that ”Interactive magazines are designed to give more comfortable reading space”. He is definitely right, because the long sentences and stable expressions that we hesitate to read are being enriched and also promises to give a more comfortable reading space by the blessings of the digital technology. Researches claim that within 5 years digital publishing will become widespread in an undeniable way and will be indispensable for the readers. The best example about that; Apple’s new gadget, iPad reached 3 million in sales in 2.5 months around the world and it seems that this growth will continue. For this reason, digital magazines will be a tempting alternative for iPad users.
In our first magazine Full, we prepared a very rich issue with many videos and pictures: From Maserati GranTurismo S to many other fast cars; from Repo Men which is going to be featured soon to the video game “I Am Alive” which will be released in this year; from the last album of Muse to the interview of Şükran Ovalı and the iPad which is the last miracle of Apple.

In the second issue of Full2, we prepared a very amusing issue: From Lamborghini Gallardo to many other nice cars; from the interview of Gökçe who is known as with her album called “Böğürtlenli Reçel” to “The Collector” movie which will be featured on this month; from the new album of Slash to the newest technological news.
Full Digital Magazine II
In our third online magazine Fin, which is about movies, we prepared many catchy topics about movies that you can enjoy: From The Last Airbender which is the adaptation of TV series that are aired on Nickelodeon to the newest movies; from the interview of Dennis Hopper who is “the experienced face” of movies to the newest DVD’s.
Fin Digital Magazine
In the first issue of Mix, we prepared a very noisy magazine and consigned the sound control to the readers: There are many things from Athena who are one of the upbeat bands of Turkey and the rebellious princess of rock music Aylin Aslım to the newest albums and the concert news; from rock festivals to the critic of 50 albums which changed the world; from the radio application to concert critics of Bob Dylan who recently took place / took stage in Turkey.
Mix Digital Magazine
Along with the fast life magazine Full, we speeded up with the coolest cars by roaming through the pages; along with the movie magazine Fin, we watched the newest movies by reflecting it to our office wall; along with the noisy magazine Mix, we irradiated to the Sonisphere which is the coolest rock festival of the year and then enjoy the music.
Finally, Full, Fin ve Mix have excited a lot and (obviously) will keep exciting KeyFruits in near future. Feeding us with their smart ideas on the “overall flow” of the publications, short and affective texts matching 100% the nature of interactive publishing, and impossible-to-skip multimedia contents, Digital Tree Publishing made and is still making our job easier than ever. We would like thank all of the members of the crew for giving us the opportunity to take part in such a great and inspiring project.
While we were trying to do best as much as we can, our tables became our pillow, our chairs became our bed, and however we get what we deserve. Now it’s time to enjoy…

On our mothership web site Keyfruit.net which is on air since last August, we tried to communicate in English on purpose. The reason behind, was simple and clear: to talk to a wider audience. The second question, “So, why you didn’t do it in English and Turkish both from the Day 1?” deriving from the previous one’s answer had a clearer answer; we couldn’t find time.
